A complete price needs a complete service
A referral-only fee does not include collection or a doctor appointment with the results. A free introductory conversation may also leave pathology and the results review to be paid separately.
Combined service packages
Some providers publish one price for a doctor appointment and pathology. We display that package total and leave the individual allocations unpublished. Packages that include medicines are suppressed.
Read the eligibility and tax conditions
Conditional Medicare offers are labelled. An amount quoted before GST is not treated as a complete tax-inclusive cost. Missing amounts are never assumed to be zero.
Is TRT covered by Medicare in Australia?
Medicare and PBS are separate funding systems. Services Australia says bulk billing means a provider accepts the Medicare benefit as full payment for that service. A visit with several services may include charges for some of them. Confirm the consultation and pathology charges separately before booking.[6]
