The default order
We sort by the lowest published cost to see a doctor with blood results. This means a consultation plus pathology, or a combined assessment price. Eligibility conditions are shown. A referral alone or introductory team call does not qualify.
Missing prices follow complete prices
If any necessary cost is missing, or a results appointment costs an unknown extra amount, the provider has no complete total. Published fees before GST are not treated as tax-inclusive totals. Complete totals sort first. A published wait to the first appointment breaks a tie, then provider name. You can sort by any displayed column.
What we record
Each provider has service area, consultation and follow-up fees, pathology, panel markers, named practitioners, independent verification status, appointment wait and source dates. Combined service packages retain their published total without inventing component allocations. Medicine-inclusive bundles are suppressed.
What the statistics mean
The provider count is the number of rows in the current dataset. The lowest fee and median use only complete published assessment totals, including labelled conditional offers. The median is the middle sorted value, or the mean of the two middle values when the count is even. These figures describe this dataset, not all Australian services.
Keeping the data current
The build rejects provider records checked more than 45 days ago. Each fee links to its own source. A missing field means the information was not published in the checked source. It does not mean the service is free or unavailable.
Correct a fee
Email info@foundlab.com.au with the provider, the field and a link to the current source. We check the original page before changing a figure. Nexus follows the same rules and has no ranking preference.
